Haili Technology R&D Center (Hunan Chemical Research Institute)

 

Hunan Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1951 and is an industrial research institution established earlier in New China. It is also a typical example of national scientific research system reform. In 1994, it initiated the establishment of a technology joint-stock enterprise - Hunan Haili Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd In 2014, the research institute was restructured as "Hunan Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd.", becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haili Co., Ltd.

The Research Institute is one of the major innovation and R&D centers in the pesticide industry in China. It has five national R&D platforms, two provincial key laboratories and five provincial research centers, including the National Pesticide Innovation Engineering Research Center, the National Carbamate Pesticide Industrial Test Base, the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Biomimetic Pesticides, the National South Pesticide Innovation Center Hunan Base and the National Enterprise Technology Center; We have the qualifications for pesticide registration indoor biological testing, field efficacy, residue, environmental behavior, environmental toxicology, and full component analysis testing authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture. We are the authorized station for quality supervision and inspection of fertilizers and pesticides in Hunan Province and the quality supervision station for chemical products in Hunan Province. The research institute has a strong R&D force. It has formed a complete R&D system of chemical synthesis, biological activity screening, process optimization, engineering technology development and design, residue and full component analysis, applied technology research, three waste treatment and information consultation. It has successfully developed a series of high-efficiency carbamate pesticides and complete sets of cleaner production technologies for their key intermediates, making China's carbamate pesticide manufacturing technology reach the Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation level.

The research institute has a strong research team, a postdoctoral workstation, and 132 researchers, including 13 doctoral students and 4 people receiving special allowances from the State Council. Senior professional titles account for 65%. It has successively established 5 joint master's programs and 4 joint doctoral programs with Central South University, Hunan Normal University and other universities. Has undertaken 228 national, provincial, and municipal scientific research projects (including 102 national level projects); Received over 90 national and ministerial (provincial) level scientific and technological achievements awards; 280 List of Chinese inventions patents were applied and 164 were authorized; More than 280 achievements have been transferred, radiating to more than 160 enterprises in 25 provinces and cities across the country, providing numerous advanced technologies for the development of China's pesticide industry and having a significant influence in the same industry.
