The Second Front Army of the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants consists of the 2nd and 6th Red Army Corps and the 32nd Red Army. On October 24, 1934, under the order of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, the Red 6th Army led by Ren Bishi, Xiao Ke, and Wang Zhen, who performed the task of the advance team of the Long March, and the Red 2nd Army led by He Long and Guan Xiangying joined forces in Muhuang. Starting from the reality, the 2nd and 6th Red Army Corps launched the offensive in western Hunan, strengthened the revolutionary base areas in Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou, and responded to and cooperated with the strategic shift of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Red Army. On November 19, 1935, the 2nd and 6th Red Corps set off from Gantianba and Ruitapu Fengshu Tower in Liujiaping County, Sangzhi County, marched into central Hunan, circled Wumeng Mountain, crossed the Jinsha River, climbed snow-capped mountains, crossed grasslands, fought bloody battles, and went through all kinds of difficulties and dangers. The memorial hall uses a large amount of rich historical materials and unique visuals to comprehensively display the great achievements of the Red Second Front Army. Listening to the narrator's detailed introduction of the heroic deeds of the ancestors and recalling the bloody revolutionary era, one can't help but feel awe and enthusiasm.

The former residence of He Long is an ordinary wooden house facing south with four doors and three rooms. In 1987, Deng Xiaoping inscribed the plaque "He Long's former residence" and hung it above the Chaomen. He Long spent his teenage years here, and it was in such a difficult environment that he forged his revolutionary will to defy difficulties and be resolute and resolute. The He Long family sacrificed more than 100 people for the revolution. The martyrs displayed in the former residence include He Long's father He Shidao, younger brother He Wenzhang, older sister He Ying, He Wumei and younger sister He Mangu.

Come out of He Long's former residence and walk across the stone bridge next to the He Long Memorial Hall. The sky in August is as blue as washing, and the green pines in the square are tall and straight. Party members remember the martyrs with heavy footsteps and deep affection. Under the leadership of Comrade Yin Lin, all party members faced the majestic bronze statue of Marshal He Long in front of the Marshal He Long Memorial Hall.

The memorial hall is solemn and solemn. The museum building consists of nine exhibition halls, which are divided into nine parts: Sang Zhi's proud son, famous general of the Northern Expedition, commander-in-chief of the Nanchang Uprising, establishment of a revolutionary base area, leading the Long March, Megatron Anti-Japanese Battlefield, campaigning in the Northwest and liberating the Southwest, people's heroes, and living in the hearts of the people forever. Through pictures, videos, cultural relics, etc., the party members traced the tortuous and arduous revolutionary road of Marshal He Long: from carrying out the revolution with two kitchen knives, to resolutely leaving the Kuomintang and holding the Nanchang Uprising; Mao Zedong said, "Boss He has three things: be loyal to the party, be resolute in fighting the enemy, and be able to connect with the masses." He struggled all his life, was born and died, made great achievements for the birth of the People's Republic of China, and made outstanding contributions to the construction of the motherland and the strength of national defense. He is not only an excellent son of the Sangzhi people, but also an outstanding hero of the entire Chinese nation.
