Always remember our mission and responsibility, and promote the implementation of reforms. ”As the dawn of the new year begins, on January 3, 2025, the Chairman of the company, Xiao Zhiyong, visited Hunan Chemical Research Institute as the first stop for his annual grassroots research.
Xiao Zhiyong first went to the Pesticide Center's New Drug Creation and Development Laboratory for on-site research, to understand the current progress of new product development and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
At the symposium, Zhou Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Research Institute, reported on the work goals for 2025 and the ideas for deepening reform. The Research Institute will adhere to innovation driven development, accelerate the research and development of new products and technologies, provide good industrial services for Haili, strengthen the training of reserve talents, improve incentive systems, and effectively stimulate the vitality of R&D personnel.
Xiao Zhiyong fully affirmed the achievements of the research institute in 2024. He pointed out that as the source of the company's technological research and development, the research institute not only shoulders the historical mission of technological innovation, but also serves as a powerful engine driving the company's sustainable development. Regarding the next steps of the research institute's work, Xiao Zhiyong emphasized that firstly, we must bear in mind our mission and responsibility, produce more innovative achievements, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of Haili; Secondly, we must promote the implementation of reforms, optimize institutional mechanisms, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of scientific researchers, and stimulate innovation vitality. We must strive to win the "turning over" of our work, plan our work for 2025 and the "15th Five Year Plan", and scientifically formulate product planning plans for 5-10 years. We must carry out inspections and rectification, rectify problems thoroughly, and establish a strong sense of rules and regulations. We must further strengthen the construction of the leadership team and talent pool, and enhance the ability and level of officials and entrepreneurs.
After the meeting, Xiao Zhiyong had one-on-one conversations and exchanges with some key researchers, and everyone spoke freely, jointly providing suggestions and strategies for the future development of the research institute.
