To reduce and prevent sudden environmental pollution accidents, enhance the safety and environmental awareness of employees, and exercise emergency response capabilities. On November 27th, Haili Guixi Company conducted an emergency drill for sudden environmental incidents.
With the command of the commander-in-chief, the drill began. This drill simulates the damage to the flange gasket of the triethylamine storage tank valve in Class A and Class B tank areas, resulting in a large leakage of triethylamine. After the dispatcher reported the incident, the company level emergency plan was immediately activated, and seven emergency rescue teams including the fire brigade, emergency repair team, alert evacuation team, and pollution control environmental monitoring team rushed to the scene. The emergency repair team wore chemical protective clothing for on-site investigation, blocked the leakage points at the accident site, and carried out rapid disinfection and disposal. After 40 minutes of emergency response, the leakage of triethylamine was effectively controlled, and the environmental emergency response drill was successfully completed.
Zhan Taojin, the captain of the Yingtan City Ecological Environment Protection Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Detachment, and relevant personnel from the Ecological Environment Bureau participated in the drill. Zhan Taojin highly praised this emergency drill, believing that it reflected three major characteristics: first, clear objectives and close to actual combat; Secondly, the process is clear and the handling is effective; Thirdly, the command was smooth and the collaboration was efficient, fully achieving the expected goals of the drill.
